A Year in Oxford (released February, 2019)

Geoffrey Chaucer is sent to Oxford to get a grounding in the seven Liberal Arts and discovers how much he doesn't know. While there, a series of grisly deaths and unfortunate mutilations make Oxford seem horribly accident-prone, until Chaucer begins to suspect a pattern to the incidents.

His fellow students range from friendly to indifferent to hostile toward the outsider from London. The topics—Grammar, Logic, Rhetoric, Arithmetic, Geometry, Music, Astronomy—are sometimes bewildering. As usual, however, he gets distracted due to his non-academic curiosity, seeking out whether there is a meaning to the pattern he thinks he has found.
